The concept of 'Interconnectivity' allows the conference to increase its scope as well as simulate an evolving international political landscape. The Press Team and the Crisis Staff will work tirelessly to provide the best experience to all participants.
God's oompa-loompas, the Crisis Staff is responsible for coordinating and mapping every development within the international arena. In other words, the Crisis Staff is responsible for deciding on events such as natural catastrophes, the outcome of armed conflicts and economic crises. Negotiations within the Presidential Summit are also dependent on approval by the Crisis Team and will impact decisions made in all other committees as well.
This position is ideal for you, if you have wide knowledge on international politics and economics and you wish to apply them in an interactive simulation. You will get access to every feature of the conference.
If you are interested in journalism and would like to report live on the developments of the conference, be it heated debates in the WTO, covert operations summoned by the Turkish President or a particularly memorable Social Event, the Press Team is for you!
Through the drafting of regular updates, you will keep delegates informed of every event conference-wide. You will be conducting interviews with delegates in committees, organizing press conferences, where delegates may be able to unveil bilateral agreements and influencing the entire conference with the information on the events unfolding in specific committees.
